Touchdown Town Has Something for Everyone

Whether you’re going to the game or you just want to be part of game day, the Colts’ Touchdown Town has something for everyone.

Free and open to the public, Touchdown Town is the premier pregame party area for fans of all ages. Located along South Street (just outside the North Gate), it’s kind of a way to tailgate without having to haul anything in, set anything up, or take anything down.

“Essentially, it’s an area for fans to come and kind of gather in front of the stadium,” says Chelsea Durham, marketing assistant for the Colts. “It’s for anyone and everyone. We’ve got the Play 60 Zone for kids, the drink specials for adults, new this year is our 40-yard dash, which has been a huge hit.”

There’s also entertainment, with live music, TV screens, lounges, food trucks, a Pro Shop trailer, corn hole, and more. But it’s the proximity to Lucas Oil Stadium that really makes Touchdown Town special.

“People are a lot more excited because it is close to the stadium, and just the energy is very game-day like. It’s constantly upbeat and people are dancing and winning prizes and doing all this Colts enthused stuff,” Durham says.

Touchdown town opens three hours before game time and closes a half hour before to allow fans to get through the lines and in their seats for kickoff. For Monday’s prime time game, it will open four hours early at 4:30.

Durham describes it as a flowing event with Ring of Honor inductee Jeff Saturday signing autographs from 5:30 to 6:00, the Colts radio show from 5:30 to 7:30, cheerleader autographs from 6:30 to 7:30, and giveaways for the first 2,000 fans.

And where else can you score $3 Bud Lights, $5 Bloody Marys, and $5 ‘Ritas (Lime-A, Mang-O, Straw-Ber, etc.) on game day?

No visit to Touchdown Town is ever the same. Every home game, there’s a different theme, different displays, and a different local or regional band. The Jordan English Band out of Lexington, Kentucky is the entertainment for Monday night’s game.

“That’s the thing about Touchdown Town. Every week we’re trying to do something different. We want everyone to come back, but we want to give you something new each week.”

You never know what (or who) you’re going to find in Touchdown Town. But you do know one thing – when you leave, you’ll be ready to cheer on the Colts!

And you’ll want to return for the next home game.
