Andrew Luck Spends Downtime Reading To Kids

What is Andrew Luck up to this offseason?

Aside from healing from shoulder surgery, it looks like he’s spending a lot of time indulging in his favorite hobby – reading.

The Colts quarterback started the Andrew Luck Book Club last year to share his love of reading and book recommendations with fans young and old.

He debuts a new book each month for rookies and veterans and records podcasts, hosts Q&As on his website, and connects with readers on social media through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

But he also shares his love of reading by getting out in the community and reading to kids.

Last month, he read to patients at Riley Hospital for Children as a guest of former Indiana Fever star Tamika Catchings.

This week, he read to students in Mrs. Anderson’s class at Lakeside Elementary in Warren Township.

And sometimes, his love of reading rubs off on his teammates too.

Last week, when the Colts signed a new punter, Jeff Locke, the Andrew Luck Book Club gained a new member.

Not everyone can throw a football, or catch a football, or kick a football.

But everyone can read.

Andrew Luck is passing time this offseason reading. And he’d love for you to join him.
